Can I still reach the jacking points with the trims fitted?

Yes, the factory points sit under the side skirt and stay clear. Care is only needed with a trolley jack without a rubber pad - it comes very close to the edge. If you jack the car yourself, we will mark the points for you.

Do the side skirts do anything without the front add-on?

Yes, because the F70's flank is long and barely structured - an extra edge works harder there than on a car with pronounced creases. Only with a front add-on, though, does the continuous line emerge.

Is it aligned with the door closed or open?

With it closed. On an open door you measure a line that does not exist while driving - on a long flank the error then shows over the full length.
