Does the tailgate have to be drilled for the spoiler lip?

No. The part is bonded only; the double-sided 3M tape is applied at the factory. Nothing on the bodywork is modified.

Does the bond hold in the car wash?

Yes, if bonded cleanly. The joint withstands car washes and pressure washers - just do not aim directly at the bonded edge from close range.

Does the spoiler lip match the roof edge spoiler?

Yes, these are two separate parts in different places - the spoiler lip on top of the tailgate, the roof edge spoiler on the roof edge above the rear window. Together they frame the glass.
