Does the spoiler fit the pre-facelift and the facelift alike?

Yes, the roof edge is shaped identically in both model years, so this single part covers both generations.

Is the existing roof spoiler replaced?

No, the cover goes on top of the standard spoiler; it is bonded on, not swapped.

Do I have to have the spoiler entered in the papers?

No, a parts type approval is in place, so fitting needs no registration entry. You carry the papers in the car.

Does the tape hold in rain and in the car wash too?

Yes, 3M tape is made for outdoor use. All that matters is that the surface is truly grease-free when bonding - which is why the degreasing wipe is included.
