Do I have to have the rear flaps entered in the papers?

No. This part has a parts type approval, so fitting needs no registration entry. You must carry the papers in the car.

Do I need a rear add-on as well?

No, the flaps work on their own on the standard bumper. They can be combined with a rear add-on - send us a photo of the rear and we will tell you whether the combination works visually.

Do the flaps fit the pre-facelift 8V too?

No. This version is cut for the Sportback from the 2017 facelift. There are separate parts for the older model years.

Will I hit the kerb when reversing?

The flaps sit at the lowest point of the rear bumper and are the first thing to make contact there. We fit them as high as the contour allows and check the ground clearance too.
