How do I know whether I need the version with 2 or 4 tailpipes?

Look under your rear and count the tailpipes. From the factory the RS3 8V facelift has two large oval pipes - then this version is right. If you see four round pipes you have a retrofitted exhaust and need the other version.

What is the difference between the two V.2 versions?

Only the cut-outs for the tailpipes. Shape, fins and fixing are identical, which is why the photos look the same at first glance. The number of tailpipes decides.

Does the V.2 fit my RS3 8V from 2016 too?

No. Up to 2016 the pre-facelift ran with a different rear apron. You need a separate version for that - drop us a line and we will link it for you.

And onto the RS3 saloon?

No, the saloon has its own rear geometry. We stock separate parts for it.

Can I fit the part myself?

Yes, if you feel confident removing the rear bumper and have a lift or at least ramps. Make sure the tailpipes end up centred in the cut-outs - otherwise you see the deviation immediately.
