What is the difference between the V.1 and V.2?

The shape. The V.1 stays closer to the standard line, the V.2 has deeper fins and more pronounced side fins. The fixing is the same on both, so you decide on looks.

Does the original diffuser have to come out?

No. This part is fitted onto the standard rear add-on, which stays on the car.

Does the V.1 fit the RS3 saloon?

No, the part is made for the Sportback facelift. The saloon has different rear geometry and its own part.

Does that work with my valved exhaust?

If your exhaust keeps the two oval tailpipes in the standard position, yes. If the pipes sit differently or there are four, send us a photo of the rear before ordering.
