Grail exhaust system suitable for Audi RS5 F5 / B9 Coupé & Sportback (2.9 TFSI) – valved exhaust system

The Audi RS5 F5/B9 uses the 2.9 TFSI twin-turbo V6 with 450 hp from the Audi Sport workshop in Neckarsulm - commanding, muscular and with a clear six-cylinder character. The GRAIL valved exhaust system gives that twin-turbo V6 the acoustic stage Audi holds back in the standard set-up: strong in Dynamic mode, restrained in Comfort. Made from L304 stainless steel, CNC-machined to close tolerances, with ECE type approval - no registration required on any EU vehicle with standard type approval.

Valve control via the Audi Drive Select driving modes

The valves are controlled by the factory Audi Drive Select valve control of your RS5. In Dynamic or RS mode the valves open; in Comfort or Auto mode they stay closed.

The system is available for all four RS5 B9 versions:

• Coupé pre-facelift (03/2017 - 08/2018): the original launch version as a coupé
• Sportback pre-facelift (02/2019 - 12/2020): the Sportback addition to the range
• Coupé facelift (01/2021 - 07/2024): revised styling and engineering
• Sportback facelift (01/2021 - 11/2024): the facelift Sportback

Exhaust tip finish:

• Twin oval (stainless steel): a sporty, near-factory look with more presence
• Twin oval (black): matt black finish - matches the RS black package
• Without exhaust tips: for your own aftermarket exhaust tips - you save the cost of the GRAIL tips.
