The window wedge is exempt from registration and legally usable on public roads as long as the driver's field of vision is not restricted according to §29c StVZO. We pay close attention to this area during installation.

Where can I have my sun strip applied professionally?

At FLOW DOWN® in Essen. Fitting takes place directly in our workshop at Hermann-Drescher-Weg 6E, 45329 Essen. We are easy to reach from across the Ruhr region.

What does a sun strip on the windscreen do?

Visually the sun strip - also called a sun visor band or windscreen banner - makes the front of the car look sportier and more cohesive. Functionally it reduces glare from low sun in the upper field of view.

How long does fitting the sun strip take in the workshop?

The fitting itself is relatively quick - depending on the car and chosen version usually 30 to 60 minutes. We clarify the exact timeframe when booking.

Which sun strip versions can I have applied at the workshop?

We apply all FLOW DOWN® sun strips - blank (no lettering), V.1 with the cut-out logo, V.2 with the wordmark, V.3 with the logo design, Korea Style and the FD Performance strip. We can also work with your own film by arrangement.

Do I need an appointment beforehand?

Yes. So we can schedule your car firmly and prepare the fitting properly, an appointment is necessary. Just contact us by phone, WhatsApp or the contact form.

Which cars can be wrapped?

For almost any car. We regularly apply sun strips on Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, Ford and many other makes. If unsure about the right size, just contact us in advance.

Can I combine the sun strip wrap with other modifications?

Yes. Many customers have the film applied together with other exterior work such as rear light tint, carbon add-ons or fitting magnetic plate holders. Just mention it - we plan it all in one appointment.
