Does the V.3 cup spoiler lip sit lower than the V.1 and V.2?

The three cup variants differ in edge line, not in fixing - they use the same points on the bumper. Which suits your i20 N best visually we are happy to clarify with you from a photo.

Do I have to cut or modify anything on the standard bumper?

No. The lip is fitted to the existing bumper; nothing is cut. If you want to go back to standard later, only the fixing remains visible.

How vulnerable is the high-gloss finish in the car wash?

The ABS takes it, but gloss shows fine wash marks more clearly than matt - and the leading edge is where you see them first. If you use brush car washes a lot, factor that in.
