What is the difference between the V.1 and the higher versions?

Only the shape of the visible edge. The V.1 is the flattest version, the V.2 to V.5 build the edge out more. The mounting points are the same on all - you decide purely on looks.

Does the lip fit the RS3 8V Sportback too?

No. The front apron is cut differently at the lower edge. We stock a separate version of the same range for the Sportback.

Was the RS3 saloon 8V available as a pre-facelift too?

No. The 8V saloon only came to market with the facelift from 2017 - if you drive an RS3 8V saloon it is necessarily a facelift and this part fits.

Can I fit the lip myself in winter?

Better not in frost. In the cold ABS goes stiff and will not conform to the bumper's curve - the lip then sits under tension and later tears out at the mounting points. That is why we work in the heated workshop area.
