Does the front lip fit a Sportage without GT-Line too?

No. The GT-Line has its own front apron and this part is designed for it. With a different trim the mounting points do not match.

How much ground clearance do I lose at the front?

Enough that you notice it on very uneven ground. For town, country roads and motorway it makes no difference. If you regularly use farm tracks or building-site access roads, factor that in beforehand.

Does the lip fit a later model year too?

The Sportage Mk4 was revised during production, including at the front apron. Send us a photo from a front three-quarter angle and we will tell you definitively before ordering whether it fits your car.

Do I need a registration entry for the front lip?

No. With the parts type approval, fitting needs no registration entry; you just carry the papers.
