The carbon fiber fuel filler cap cover, designed for the pre-facelift Hyundai i30 N, is glued directly over the standard fuel filler cap. The adhesive is applied using a pre-installed 3-piece adhesive strip.M-Adhesive tape – no need to disassemble the original part.

The cover is made of genuine woven carbon fiber using a pre-preg process and cured in an autoclave. Precise 3D scans of the original component ensure a 100% perfect fit, flush with the fuel cap contour.

Material

Genuine woven carbon fiber manufactured using the pre-preg process and cured in an autoclave. Clear glossy lacquer finish, dimensionally stable and resistant to UV radiation, moisture and temperature fluctuations outdoors.

The cover is glued directly over the original fuel filler cap. The gluing is done using the pre-assembled 3M-Adhesive tape – the fuel cap does not need to be removed. Thoroughly clean and degrease the adhesive surface before installation.

Optionally, installation is also possible at FLOW DOWN® in Essen.

Does the carbon fuel cap cover fit every pre-facelift Hyundai i30 N?

No, the cover only fits all pre-facelift models without a GPF of the Hyundai i30 N and i30 Fastback N

What material is the cover made of?

The cover is made from real woven carbon using the pre-preg process and cured in the autoclave. The surface has a clear gloss finish.

Does the fuel cap cover have to be entered in the papers?

No. It is a purely cosmetic cover that affects neither the safety nor the registration of the car and therefore needs no registration entry.

Is the original fuel cap replaced or covered over?

The cover is bonded directly over the standard fuel filler cap. Removing or replacing the original part is not necessary.

How is the cover fitted?

3M tape is already fitted on the back. Clean and degrease the bonding surface on the original cap thoroughly before fitting, then place the cover precisely and press it on.

Is the cover weatherproof?

Yes. Thanks to the autoclave-cured pre-preg carbon and the protective clear coat, the cover withstands UV light, moisture and temperature swings outdoors.
