Carbon kidney grille FD Aeroline suitable for BMW M3 G80, BMW M3 G81, BMW M4 G82 and BMW M4 G83. A race-oriented geometry as a nod to the CSL factory grille - a closed look with no colour accents, a pure carbon statement at the front. Made from dry carbon prepreg in an autoclave, it completely replaces the factory plastic kidney grilles.

Road legality - material certificate, part type approval in preparation

A material certificate is currently available for this carbon kidney grille. Individual approval under §21 StVZO (German law) by an inspection body (TÜV, GTÜ or DEKRA) is required before the vehicle may be driven on public roads. A part type approval is being prepared at the KBA (German federal motor transport authority) - once it is in place no registration is needed.

Material

Dry carbon prepreg, cured in an autoclave under pressure and heat. The standard finish is classic 3K carbon with high-gloss UV lacquer - UV-stable and non-yellowing.

Forged carbon available on request

Fitting - factory replacement from behind

Like the original grille, this carbon grille is inserted into the bumper from behind - the factory plastic kidney grilles are completely replaced. The bumper has to be removed for fitting. We recommend professional fitting at FLOW DOWN® in Essen.

Body kit and carbon parts fitting at FLOW DOWN® in Essen

You can book body kit fitting directly as a service in the shop - and on request we also present the car at the inspection body for the individual approval under §21.

Front number plate - neatly mounted with the hook-and-loop holder

With a carbon kidney grille we recommend the FLOW DOWN® hook-and-loop number plate holder. No drilling into the carbon grille, no magnet on the carbon surface - the plate is held by hook-and-loop tape and can be removed whenever you need.
