With part type approval, the front splitter requires no registration in Germany. No inspection appointment, no individual approval under §21 StVZO (German law), no registration fee - which saves you the effort a simple material certificate would involve.

Provide your vehicle identification number (VIN) when ordering

The part type approval is issued for your vehicle identification number (VIN) and is only valid together with that VIN. You enter the VIN when ordering, we record it in our system and enclose the approval document with the delivery. Without a VIN the document cannot be issued.
