Carbon fiber materials are characterized by high durability and low weight. Carbon fiber is very often used in motorsports, especially in vehicle aerodynamics. Various types of spoilers, diffusers, splitters and flaps are often made from carbon fiber.

In our Carbon Division - a production department specializing in the processing of carbon fiber - the elements we offer are manufactured, including the rear side splitters for the Audi RS3 Sedan 8Y. Rear side splitters are aerodynamic elements of the side areas of the vehicle that cover the lower part of the rear bumper of the car.

The rear side splitters lower the body both visually and physically. This reduces the airflow space under the car by 2 centimeters. The splitters are equipped with mounting holes. These holes prevent any deterioration of the structure of the element and thus do not reduce its strength.

The rear side splitters were made in Poland. They were produced using thermal printing technology. Carbon fiber is hardened at high temperature and pressure using an autoclave. This is the most modern method of carbon fiber production, which guarantees excellent results in terms of strength and optical properties.

We ship carbon fiber products properly secured - in addition to the regular film that protects the component from scratches, we also use a large amount of bubble wrap and a protective mat to protect the product from shocks and vibrations during transport.

FAQ

What is the difference from the V.1 rear flaps?

The edge line. The V.2 is matched to the carbon rear add-on V.1 and runs up to its outer edge. Without a rear add-on the V.1 looks more coherent, as it is drawn to stand alone.

Do I definitely need the carbon rear add-on with it?

For the coherent look yes - that is what the V.2 is made for. Technically it can be fitted without, but the edges then end unsupported visually. Send us a photo of the rear and we will say what suits you.

Do the flaps fit the RS3 8Y Sportback too?

No. They are designed for the saloon's rear bumper; the Sportback has a different shape there.

Do I have to have the flaps entered in the papers?

Yes. There is a parts certificate, no ABE and no type approval. After fitting you need an inspection at an approved test centre and the entry in the vehicle papers.
